Gua Sha

Gua Sha is a straightforward technique commonly used in Asia. The skin is pressured in strokes by a round-edged instrument. Blood and metabolic waste congest the surface tissues and muscles, and leaves the blood vessels, promoting normal circulation and metabolic processes. It is valuable in the treatment of pain, in the prevention and treatment of acute infectious illnesses, digestive and upper respiratory problems, and many acute and chronic disorders.
